Draft for review — effective date to be added.
This general policy describes how refunds and cancellations should be addressed. The terms in a signed proposal, order, or service agreement may provide more specific rules, subject to mandatory law.
Project-specific terms
The quote or service agreement should identify price, deposit, milestones, deliverables, included revisions, acceptance criteria, and cancellation charges before work begins.
Work already performed
Amounts attributable to completed work, committed third-party expenses, and non-refundable license purchases may be treated as specified in the agreement, where permitted by law. No blanket statement overrides mandatory consumer rights.
Cancellation by the client
Clients should submit cancellation requests in writing. The agreement should explain the effective date, handover of work completed, outstanding payments, and whether deposits or milestones are refundable.
Recurring hosting and maintenance
Recurring services should state billing frequency, renewal, notice periods, cancellation method, data export, backup retention, and migration charges.
Provider cancellation
If a service cannot be delivered as agreed, the parties should follow the remedies in the signed agreement and applicable law. Refunds or credits should be documented.
Disputes and legal rights
Contact us promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect. This policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Review for applicable consumer and international requirements.
Before launch: Confirm the operating legal entity, business address, actual service practices, vendors, tracking tools, retention schedules, and applicable jurisdictions. Obtain qualified legal review. Last updated: October 15, 2026.
